Averon staff mail
Read and send your @averon.com.my email from any phone or computer.
Type your password only on webmail.averon.com.my. This page never asks for it.
What do you need to do?
Sign in for the first time
IT gives you a temporary password. Use it once, then set a password only you know.
-
Open webmail and sign in
Under Username, type your full email address, for example yourname@averon.com.my. Under Password, type the temporary password from IT. Then select Login.
Open webmail -
Change the password straight away
In webmail, open Settings, then Password. Type the temporary password, type your new password twice, and select Save.
-
Choose a password that lasts
Use at least 12 characters. Three unrelated words and a number work well. Do not reuse a password from another site, and do not share it with anyone, including IT.
-
Check your recovery email
IT keeps one personal email address on file for you. If you forget your password, the reset link goes there. Your welcome message shows which address is on file. Tell IT if it is wrong.
-
Update your phone and Outlook
They keep trying the old password until you type the new one. See Phone and Outlook.
Reset a forgotten password
You can reset it yourself. The reset link goes to your personal recovery email, not to your Averon mailbox.
-
Open the reset page
The page belongs to Exabytes, our mail provider, so its address reads sp171.mschosting.cloud. That is expected.
Open the reset page -
Ask for a reset link
Type your full Averon email address, for example yourname@averon.com.my, and send the request.
-
Open your personal email
Look for the reset message and open the link in it. Check the spam folder if it is not in your inbox. Use the link soon, because it expires.
-
Set a new password and sign in
Choose a new password, then sign in to webmail with it.
Open webmail -
Update your phone and Outlook
Type the new password there too. See Phone and Outlook.
No reset link after 10 minutes?
Message IT on WhatsApp. IT can send the reset link again or give you a new temporary password. Contact IT.

Everyone at Averon signs off the same way. Fill in your details, copy the signature, and paste it into your mail app once.
Where to paste it
Webmail
- Open Settings, then Identities, and select your email address.
- Tick HTML signature, click inside the Signature box and paste.
- Select Save.
Outlook on a computer
- Open Outlook settings and find Signatures.
- Create a new signature, paste, and save.
- Set it as the default for new messages and for replies.
Phone mail apps
- Most phone apps keep signatures as plain text. Paste it into the app's signature setting and it becomes the text version without the logo.
Get help
IT support for Averon mail is Yugendran Tamilselvan.
Tell IT three things
- Which Averon email address has the problem.
- Which device or app you are using: webmail, phone or Outlook.
- What the screen says. A screenshot is best.
Keep your mailbox safe
- Averon never asks for your password by email, WhatsApp or phone. IT does not need it to help you.
- Type your password only on webmail.averon.com.my, in your own mail app, or on the reset page you opened from this portal.
- If an email asks you to sign in somewhere else, do not open the link. Forward it to IT.
